This section describes the dental treatment assistance services that we offer to anyone in need of dental treatment in Kromeriz who would like to be assisted.

TREATMENT AT THE
PRAGUE DENTAL SURGERY:
For complicated dental treatment such as implants and dental surgery to be done in Prague the procedure is as follows:

1)
Visit your local dentist and get her to explain to you all the technicalities and costs (for your own comparison) of the work you need doing. You don't have to tell her that you're going elsewhere to save money.
We suggest you do tell her.
If your dentist is honest and fair she will understand your need to save money but will still offer useful advice and a correct analysis of what you need doing.

2)
E-mail us these details of what you need doing and at what approximate date you would want to come to Prague.
NO SCANS or attachments please - just text in form of an e-mail.

This is the ONLY way to inform us (and the Prague dentists) with the exact details of any dental treatment you might need.

If you send us an e-mail with just a generic description such as 'I need some implants', you will not receive a reply.

3)
We will filter your request to the Prague surgery who will decide if it is viable for you to go to Prague for your treatment.

4)
If they confirm that they are able to assist you - we send you their direct contact details - e-mail/phone numbers and you yourself can take it from there.
Both via e-mail and phone
From then on it's between you and the Prague dental Center.

5)
Optional:
At the Prague surgery they speak French, English and German but we can provide an interpreter for you in Prague at Euro 15 per hour.
Once you have set up an appointment in Prague and need an interpreter contact us again.

TREATMENT AT THE
KROMERIZ DENTISTS:

For generic dental treatment such as crowns, fillings, root canal treatment, plaque removal and bleaching to be done in Kromeriz the procedure is as follows:

1)

2)
Visit your local dentist and get him to explain to you all the technicalities and costs (for your own comparison) of the work you need done. You don't have to tell him that you're going elsewhere to save money.

4)
Pete will pass these details on to Pavla who will consult the dentist in Kromeriz and will get a probable appointment date and more important, the treatment time needed for your visit.
This information will then be e-mailed back to you.

5)
Once you have been mailed back confirming the treatment with a probable appointment date - you can mail us confirming your intent on coming to Kromeriz and we will confirm your intended arrival with the dentist.
At this stage you will also receive our phone number in case you'd like to speak to us in person.

The dentist does not hike prices.
Prices of treatment are those stated in our price section and if you know exactly what needs to be done - then you can easily work out the cost for yourself using our dental costs section.
For standard dental work in Kromeriz, the prices are for the work done and not for any time spent in doing it.
So if a crown takes 2 appointments or three - you still pay the listed price and not the extra appointment time.

Interpreting services and other organizational and assistance services.

Interpreting is mostly done by Pavla who speaks good english, german and some broken but sufficient Italian.
Interpreting cost per hour is Euro 10

Usually this service is useful during the first visit to the dentist where the dentist must explain to you - and you must understand - what work he will be doing.
Also where you must be able to communicate your needs and any questions you may have.

Most people opt to use this service for all the visits to the dentist but you decide this after the first visit.

Interpreting is also available during your arrival when checking into your hotel and even on sight seeing tours in and around Kromeriz.

If Pavla is unavailable Pete can help out with the interpreting at no cost - if he is in or around Kromeriz.

If neither Pete nor Pavla are available - we can provide other interpreters who collaborate with us from time to time.

Bring your own interpreter ?
You may already have Czech friends or prefer to find your own interpreter and that's fine by us.
As long as we can ascertain that the person speaks Czech (even via telephone) we have no quibbles with you procuring your own interpreter.
We would still accompany you - free of charge - to the Kromeriz dentist for the first appointment - introduce you all - so that the dentist knew who you were.

Hotel - accommodation booking.
It does not cost anything if you would like us to book a Pension or hotel room for you in Kromeriz.

Accommodation costs in Kromeriz vary from around Euro 20 to Euro 50 per night.
Food is dead cheap, beer is almost for free... oh and did we mention the cheap dentists ?

Questa sezione descrive l'assistenza che offriamo a chiunque che desidera ricevere trattamento dentistico o a Kromeriz o a Praga.

TRATTAMENTO AL
STUDIO DENTISTICO A PRAGA:

Per trattamento dentistico complesso tipo implantati e chirurgia dentale da essere eseguito a Praga la procedura
è la seguente:

Visitate il vostro dentista e fatevi spiegare di cosa esattamente avete bisogno - quale trattamento e quanto costi (per poter paragonare i costi).
Non dovete per forza spiegare al dentista che andrete altrove per questo trattamento ma noi suggeriamo che spiegate tutto.
Se avete un dentista ragionevole ed onesto - comprenderà la vostra ragione di voler risparmiare - e vi spiegherà tutto in modo corretto con consigli utili.

2)
Spediteci per e-mail il trattamento che ora sapete vi servirà ed una data approssimativa per quando vorreste venire a Praga.
Niente scansioni o allegati grazie.
Solo informazioni in forma testuale in un messaggio e-mail.

Questo è l'unico modo per informarci (ed anche i dentisti a Praga) con cosa esattamente vi servirà.

Se ci mandate un e-mail generico tipo 'Mi serve un dente nuovo', non riceverete nessuna risposta.

3)
Noi filtreremo la vostra informazione ai dentisti a Praga i quali decideranno se potranno eseguire il trattamento da voi richiesto.

4)
Se loro confermano - riceverete da noi il loro diretto indirizzo e-mail e nr. di telefono.
Da questo punto in poi ve la vedete direttamente con loro.

5)
Opzionale:
I dentisti a Praga parlano inglese, francese e tedesco ma se vi serve un interprete - ne possiamo organizzare uno per Euro 15 all'ora.
Una volta che avete organizzato un appuntamento a Praga e vi serve un interprete potete contattarci di nuovo.

Visitate il vostro dentista e fatevi spiegare da lui esattamente cosa bisogna fare con tutti i dettagli tecnici. Non dovete per forza dirgli che intendete farvi fare i lavori altrove per risparmiare una barca di soldi.

Se avete un dentista ragionevole ed onesto - comprenderà la vostra ragione di voler risparmiare - e vi spiegherà tutto in modo corretto con consigli utili.

Se decidete a questo punto di voler andare a Kromeriz, confermate via e-mail e noi avviseremo il dentista.

A questo punto riceverete anche il nostro nr. di telefono per poterci parlarle di persona se desiderate.

Il dentista non rialza i prezzi.
Prezzi di trattamenti sono quelli specificati nel nostro settore costi trattamenti dentistici e se sapete cosa vi occorre potete arrivare al costo finale facilmente da soli.
Per lavori generici a Kromeriz i costi sono per il risultato finale per cui se il trattamento per una capsula di ceramica impegna 3 invece di 2 appuntamenti, pagate comunque solo la capsula e non 2 o 3 appuntamenti (come si fa in Italia per esempio - ed ecco perchè in Italia il trattamento viene esteso più che possibile dai dentisti.)

Interpretaggio è maggiormente sotto la cura di Pavla la quale parla bene l'inglese, Tedesco e un po' di Italiano.
Costo interpretaggio per una ora è: Euro 10

Usualmente questo servizio è utile durante almeno la prima visita dal dentista quando lui deve spiegarvi cosa farà - e voi dovete capire cosa vi dice.
Ed anche se avete domande o quisiti vari.

La maggior parte dei pazienti internazionali scelgono di usufruire di questo servizio per tutte le visite dal dentista ma voi potete decidete questo dopo la prima visita.

Il servizio di interpretaggio è anche disponibile durante il vostro arrivo ed il check in nel albergo o anche per gite turistiche in Kromeriz e dintorni.

Se Pavla non è disponibile, Pete può dare una mano con la traduzione a nessun costo - se si trova nei paraggi di Kromeriz.

Portare il vostro interprete ?
Potreste già avere amici nella Rep. Ceca o preferire procurarvi il vostro interprete da soli e questo ci sta bene.
