Going by taxi (return trip) from Kromeriz
about Euro 25.
The taxi will wait for you for Euro 4 per hour.

Atmosphere: The best you can expect
Service: Excellent
Croupiers: Good - but able to aim the ball.
Crowd: International - italian, german, and locals
System players: Nice place to try something out in early evening. Some croupiers will slow down if asked (and if the table is empty).

Since the croupiers here can aim the ball if they wish hitting a particular sector - don't play a sector system at an empty table.
The best way not to leave any money here is to play at a very full table (at least 10 people playing) ...and then play 5 split numbers around the zero.

If you understand what 'being able to aim the ball' means - you'll understand why playing around the zero at a full table makes sense.

The management is superb - both the general manager and his sub manageress really do their utmost to make you feel welcome.

Our opinion:
Although Zlin is about 300 km from Prague, this is one of the BEST casinos in the Czech Republic as far as we are concerned.
We've tried systems here, like spending a whole evening betting only 1 euro in a whole hour, clocking the wheel, and basically not being what casinos love, i.e. big spenders.
And we did this for a month.

Nevertheless, the staff and management always went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Each and every time.

The croupiers know their business and despite the hard nut or two - they are ok.

Some of the younger female croupiers tend to be pretty arrogant and take themselves as very important people and unfortunately have not completely understood the fact that their job is to make punters feel at ease. [ This should be any casinos main target as a happy punter - bets more - and loses more. ]
Just ignore them and concentrate on the game.

The bar sevice is excellent and they know how to make a REAL italian expresso. Make sure you ask for a short one.

The interior is lush, comfortable and very pleasant.

Furthermore, in the adjacent Hotel Moskva - on the first floor - there's a mexican restaurant, perhaps the best tex-mex we've been to in the Czech Republic. Lively atmosphere but not exaggerated, great food and service - and very cheap.

Olomouc - 38 km from Kromeriz.
Once in Olomouc - just ask and the taxi will take you there.

Our opinion:
There are two casinos in Olomouc and this one, although not in the center of town is very very nice.
From the moment you check in you get the feeling of a 'family' business atmosphere. We witnessed a midnight raffle for the punters who signed up at the door to participate.
The tables are nice and the staff are reasonably versed in dealing with guests and the interior is beautiful.
They have fresco-like paintings on their walls which really look llike REAL frescos. (click image on left above to see these)

If you're in Olomouc this is a must - even for a dink without gambling.

Croupier: Buoni - ma sanno mirare la pallina.
Clientela: Internazioanle e con parecchi italiani - tedeschi e locali.
Sistemisti Roulette: Ottimo luogo dove provare qualcosa di nuovo in prima serata. Alcuni coupier rallenteranno se glie lo chiedete ( e se il tavolo non è affolato).

Visto che i croupier sono in grado di mirare la pallina verso un qualsiasi settore - non giocate un sistema a settori ad un tavolo vuoto.
Il migliore metodo per non lasciare soldi qui è di giocare ad un tavolo affollato (almeno 10 giocatori)...e di puntare a cavallo 5 numeri vicino lo zero.

La direzione è stupenda - entrambi il direttore e la sua assistente direttrice vanno ad estremi per farvi sentire al vostro agio.

Nostro Giudizio:
Sebbene Zlin è a 300 km da Praga, questo è il migliore casinò nella Republica Ceca a quanto ci riguarda.
Noi abbiamo testato degli sistemi qui, dove bisognava puntare solo 1 euro per ogni ora di gioco, osservando la ruota, e principalmente non essendo quello che gli casinò chiamano 'grossi clienti'.

Lo abbiamo fatto per circa un mese e nonostante questo la direzione ed anche il personale sono sempre stati cortesi.

I croupier qui conoscono il fatto loro e nonostante qualche testa de 'coccio' tra di loro - sono ok.

Alcune delle giovani croupier femminili tendono verso l'arroganza e si danno molte arie e sfortunatamente non hanno capito che il loro compito è anche quello di far sentire il giocatore al suo agio. [Cosa che dovrebbe essere il compito da raggiungere di ogni casinò dato che un giocatore contento - punta di più - e perde di più. ]
Per cui ignorate queste croupier e concentratevi sul gioco.

Il servizio bar è eccellente e qui se chiedete l'espresso ve lo fanno come si deve = ristretto.

L'interiore è lussuoso, comodo e molto accogliente.

Tra altro nel adiacente Hotel Moskva - al 1° piano - c'è un ristorante Messicano che è uno dei migliori che abbiamo visto in tutta la CZ. Ambiente vivace ma non troppo, ottima cucina e servizio - e si spende pochissimo.

Nostro giudizio:
Ci sono due casinò in Olomouc e questo è davvero bello, sebbene non proprio nel centro.

Dal momento che arrivate, avrete la sensazione che il tutto è gestito da una impresa famigliare. Noi abbiamo assistito ad un sorteggio di mezzanotte per i visitatori che si erano iscritti all'entrata.
I tavoli sono ottimi, il personale ampiamente versato nel trattare col visitatore e l'interiore è molto bello.
Hanno dei dipinti sulle pareti che sembrano degli veri afreschi. (cliccate l'immagine sopra a destra per vederli meglio)

Se siete ad Olomouc, questo casinò è un bel punto da visitare - anche se solo per un'aperitivo.
